Terms of use
Version 1.0, effective 29 October 2026.
These terms govern your use of the website kelsey.legal (the Site), operated by Original Media BV, Achtzalighedenlaan 9, 2920 Kalmthout, België, company number BE 0471.421.879, VAT BE 0471.421.879, RLE Antwerpen ("we", "us"). Kelsey is the name of the service. Contact: hello@kelsey.legal.
These terms cover the public website only.
Read section 3. The Site and the Kelsey product present information from public records. They do not give legal, medical or regulatory advice. Check every statement against the original document before you rely on it.
1. Browsing creates no contract
Reading the Site or writing to us does not create a subscription, a license to the product or any other obligation on either side. Access to the Kelsey product, including a test link, is granted separately and in writing, and is governed by the terms stated when it is granted. Nothing on the Site is a binding offer.
2. What the Site is
The Site describes Kelsey, a service that answers questions about drugs and devices from public records and cites each statement to the original document. The Site is for professionals. It is independent, and not affiliated with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
3. No advice, no warranty of accuracy
3.1. The Site is not legal, medical, regulatory, scientific or financial advice. It creates no lawyer-client, doctor-patient or other professional relationship between you and us. We are not a law firm and we do not practice medicine.
3.2. The examples on the Site show the kind of answer Kelsey gives. They are illustrations, not a statement about any person's case, and they may become out of date as sources are updated. Descriptions of coverage, sources and refresh are indicative and are not a warranty.
3.3. Verify against the original. Every statement is cited to a source document. A citation points you to where to look. It does not guarantee that the source supports the statement, or that the source is complete or current. Read the original before you use any statement in a filing, an opinion, a decision, a report or an article.
3.4. Do not use the Site to decide on medical treatment or to stop or start a medicine. If you have a health concern, speak to a qualified clinician. To report a side effect or device problem, use FDA's MedWatch.[1]
3.5. The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we exclude all express and implied warranties, including accuracy, completeness, currency, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability.
4. Acceptable use
You may read, link to and share the pages of the Site. You may not:
- scrape the Site or copy it in bulk, or republish its text, design or code commercially or as your own, without our prior written consent;
- use the Site or its content to train or fine-tune an AI system, or to build a competing service;
- interfere with the Site, probe it for vulnerabilities outside the good-faith disclosure described in the privacy policy, or put a disproportionate load on it;
- present our content as if it came from the FDA or any government agency, or imply that we are affiliated with one.
5. Intellectual property
The text, design, code and branding of the Site belong to us or our licensors, unless stated otherwise. You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to read and share the pages for your own professional use. The documents the Site cites belong to their publishers, mostly public agencies and journals; their reuse is governed by the publisher's terms, and we claim no rights in them.
Drug, device, company and agency names belong to their owners and are used only to identify what is discussed.
6. Links
The Site links to external sources, including government sites, journals and company websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or availability.
7. Messages to us
If you write to hello@kelsey.legal, the privacy policy explains what we do with your email. Do not send confidential case details, privileged material or health information. Feedback and suggestions you send may be used by us freely and without compensation.
8. Limitation of liability
8.1. We provide the Site free of charge and use reasonable efforts to keep it accurate. We are liable only for proven direct damage caused by our fault.
8.2. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, loss of profit, loss of data, or any damage arising from a decision you made relying on the Site without the verification described in section 3.3.
8.3. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, intentional misconduct or death or personal injury.
9. Changes
We may change the Site and these terms. The version date at the top shows the current terms. A change takes effect when it is posted.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed exclusively by Belgian law, excluding the Vienna Sales Convention and any conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Antwerpen, without prejudice to the mandatory rules on the use of languages in judicial proceedings. If you are a consumer, you may always bring proceedings before the court of your domicile, and you may apply free of charge to the Consumer Mediation Service, Koning Albert II-laan 8 box 1, 1000 Brussels (consumentenombudsdienst.be), or to the European ODR platform; the jurisdiction clause cannot be invoked against you.
